HAMPTON ROADS
had surgery last week, so haven't been able to do much of anything. could only look out the window at my stang. still have a alum rad, dual elec fan and dc controller to go in. so today i took my meds went outside and took a few pics and started my car. i know i still need to tune it a bit better but as always it's a work in progress. let me know what you guys think?

what kind of times and hp do you expect that thing to put down? i know how you feel about that surgery. after my back surgery last winter, i looked at my car out the winter for about 2 months. i couldnt even barely get out of bed for 3 weeks.

your h/c/i setup is pretty comparable to what i am going to go with. as of right now i have the 185s, tfs 2 and the tfs street intake. how is your bottom end power with the 185s and that cam choice? does the car keep pulling to 6000? driveability?

thanks for any info

surgery really suxx. i got one shoulder done and basicly unusable for weeks and prob have to do the other one soon. so it kinda puts a hold on the car esp from the cash. i have never raced at the track. so no times or even an idea. i hope to go soon. i wanted to get my rad and stuff done first. driveabilty is perfect. no problems at all. i mean if a cam with some loping doesn't bother you. driving on the street it pulls good all through the powerband.

i thought i'd get more responses. but i guess the positive is better than the usual internet drama
I haven't responded till now, but I have listened to your exhaust note a few times. You have the sound that I'm aiming for my friend. Get better so you post up some street vids. :nice:

my mechanic just used the tool you mentioned to put reliefs in the pistons for clearance. hopefully i can get my shoulder better cuz the shop i go to is renting the local 1/4 mile track for a day for just us. i've never drove my car on it and i'm looking forward to it. plus i should have slicks ready to go as well. should make it a good first time.

i'll def make a post since it will be first time running any car at the track. prob not gonna be optimal since it's the first time. the best part of it is will only be about 60 people or less for 8 hours run after run. so def get sometime in. that is if i'm any to drive w/ my shoulder. don't want to wreck my car due to my shoulder after all the work and cash i've put into this car.
