Well, the car has been on the road a little over a week now and it's still running perfect. I went on another cruise last night and it was a pleasure driving the car.

Since the 5.0 swap was completed, I've lowered the car and removed the "Mustang" decal and stripes from the lower door area. It just screamed V6!! lol

There's still a couple blemishes on the car that need attention, but I am going to wait until I have my Saleen body kit and fix the problems and paint the whole car at once.

I still need to install my 4.10 geared 8.8 from the 94. I'm hesitant because I have been reading that there is slight differences in the way the control arms mount up (not sure exactly what they mean... if any of you know what it is I'd love to hear about it!)

Anyway, here's a few pics I took of the car this afternoon. The camera isn't that great, but they came out ok.

Thanks Kurt! I have lots of bling, a windsor and an S trim planned for under the hood. I want this to be a show stopper. It already get's attention at the shows. Non-Mustang freaks will just look and walk on by, but someone who knows stangs will give it a look, start to walk away and then stop for a double take. It's awesome!

Only thing is it's slower than crap. A PI equipped 99 GT will spank me pretty good.

The heat was brutal no doubt. But when I set my mind to something I don't stop until it is done.

A little update, I just went and had the A/C vac'd down and recharged. It was putting out 43° air! I really enjoyed the ride home in comfortable temps. I've been putting the top down to help somewhat with the heat, which was fine as long as I was moving, but at a red light OMG I could feel my scalp starting to sizzle! (and I'm going thin up top so there's not much shade left.)

I just can't believe how this summer won't let up. It's suposed to be 95+ the rest of the week on my one 5 day work week. Nothing like roasting in that damn greenhouse with a shirt and tie on. I have to start on that Jeep head gasket this weekend, and I guarantee it's going to be 100+ in my shop. Not looking forward to it.

Kurt

Wow, that was a quick swap, and a very cool one! People probably see your 5.0 emblem on the trunk and think you are just another wanna be kid with V6. Im impressed, very well done.

Thanks! The only problem is this car only has marginally more HP than the V6 had! Gobs more torque though but I think my intake is holding me back. I have a potential trade in the works for a Performer in exchange for my RPM.
