well as some of you may know, i had a project a long time ago that i finally completed.

i installed a CarPC. it runs though my stock mach460 without skipping a beat. it even sounds better then my stock mach460 headunits.

so far i worked out a lot of bugs i've been having but theres still a few things i need to add.
- wifi adapter
- tweecer software
- 4 port usb hub
- finishing touches on bezel

well heres some pics that i was promising, but no vid yet. in the pics you can see the audio screens

that's freakin sweet, man! i really wanted to do that -- had an 01-04 bezel ready to have the monitor molded in, started buying parts, just never got around to actually doing it.

how are you liking it so far? what front-end are you using?

the hardest part was getting all the parts. finding a bezel was probably the hardest for me because everyone was asking to much untill i found one on ebay off a 03 cobra. finding the rest of the parts was pretty easy mostly off ebay or locally.

i really like it alot. sometimes i go to the garage and just sit in the car playing with it either tweaking some settings, listening to music or watching a dvd. right now i'm not using the touch screen but instead a mouse. with the mouse and some software, i programed the mouse wheel to control the volume and also mute .

the front end is called Freedom Ultimate AKA FU. its a great Front End but its really hard to find a copy because of legal problems the creater had with it. the Front end is incomplete tho. some features arent working such as DVD, APPS, Emulator, and PC STATUS. people have created there own add-ons for this Frontend that you can add such as web browser and dvd.
