Well I finally finished polishing the intake (after numerous times of sanding & re-sanding to get it perfect). I am very impressed since this is the first thing I have ever polished to this extent. Once my OneBadPolish arrives I will be able to make it look even better.

That thing looks hot!!

I still love the looks of the old GT-40 over many of the other
aftermarket intakes and polished/painted the way yours is...
It's just awesome looking! Hope it runs as good as it looks for you.

Looks great! What did you use to polish yours out?

We just got finished up with our Cobra intake a week or so ago; I need to post up some pics of it before we put it back on. We used a Dremel, and did tons of handwork too. Took awhile, but the finished product is worth it!

The GT40 is probably the best looking intake out there. Just looks real aggressive those tubes.

Very nice.

After all of the various sandpapers I used some emery compound on a buffing wheel with my corded drill. I then switced to tripoli followed by white rouge. To finish it I used some Mothers Billet polish on a microfiber cloth. There are still a few fine scratches in it so Im hoping the polish from Charlie takes care of that.

Thanks for all of the comments so far!

Very shiny. I want to see what charlie's polish can do for that.
