well, let me know what you guys think.

the block is getting completely stripped of it's paint and getting painted duplicolor's high temp aluminum. lol oh and the timing cover is getting re-sealed

no, it just means i'll have to find an intake spacer to clear everything. for now i have some stockies that are painted duplicolors high temp aluminum. they look good too so i'll just have to put those on for now.

are you planning on putting a cowl hood on it? i thought i heard of clearance issues with stock hoods with those bbk intakes...much less with spacers. just food for thought, i may be wrong

Nice score on the motor. You shouldn't have any problems with the intake height really. A buddy of mine has one in a fox and it hit by like a 1/16 of an inch. You can trim the brace for the hood and it will be OK, or get drop mounts for your motor. The BBK is a great intake BTW. Nice flow numbers and you don't have to pull it to get the valve covers off. I wish they made them for the 351w

First, you do know that engine isn't carbed right? So much for your screen name

Second, XXX means your block is officially licensed by Vin Diesel.

Third, i was thinking maybe paint the red in the valve cover lettering a silver to match the intake (i think someone mentioned painting the intake to match the valves covers...i just like silver better than the red).
