What are your long-term plans for the motor? I ask because you don't want to end up limited in what you can do. I started out w/ the plan of simply transplanting an '89 5.0 efi engine...but decided I needed POWER...so I researched heads (AFR's)...Kenne Bell 2.2 l blower...then found a GREAT deal on a 331 forged stroker (sportsman block) w/ a huge blower cam...

...and can still run this off the EEC + TwEECer (w/ bigger MAF + injectors). I may sell the EEC stuff and go w/ FAST.

What I wanted to do was have the options for the motor that the 5.0's have; my project has progressed during the building stage; but it can happen 6 mos later...suddenly it just doesn't feel fast enough any more!

SO: make sure that you can accomodate ALL of the power you think you might want, and multiply by 1.5 or 2 !!!!!
