FO SHO!

I was digging through some old threads, and don't think I've posted the new motor. I found some posts about building it, but no final shots.

306 with AFR 185/TFS stage 1/ported GT-40/S-trim @ 8 lbs for now:

Starting to get excited about summer, as I barely drove it last year.

Might have to pick up a set, while we're talking about the engine compartment I see you have a SS feed line for your headunit, do you happen to be running a aftermarket oil pressure gauge? If so how did you T into the sending unit? Sorry its kind of a bit off topic of what the thread is about haha.

rims look awesome.. where did you get'em? I'm having trouble finding some good 4 lugs anywhere. thinking about getting a 5 lug conversion kit but it sounds like a pain.

I don't have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. The SS line came with the S-trim kit I bought back a few years ago. I think the A-trim (now SQ trim) kit has that red line?

Discount tires direct, from an ad in the May 07 issue of 5.0.

I sure did give it a try, just was never completely blown away.

Until I add one more lug, these will keep me happy. When 5 lug time comes, it's FR500's FTW!

Agreed, the work isn't too hard. It's the few thousand dollars to do it the way I want it that's keeping me on the fence a while longer.

I think I have a problem here.

It's easy enough but c'mon...easier than changing oil?

I liked the 93 Cobras too. The FR500s will look awesome!

FR500s are awesome. A 5 lug conversion can be cheap and easy, but the problem is the brakes. When you're running 18" fr500s with stock brakes, that's gonna look pretty cheesy. So like you said, you'd have to spend a couple grand and put big brakes on it while you're at it.

Alan...Car looks great! Nice choice in wheel.
What offset are the rear rims? Any spacer back there? They fit perfect.
