just messing around the other day, took the wing off and the headlight covers and have been getting alot of compliments. do they make plastic or rubber plugs for the trunk holes? if so, where can i get them? any parts stores?

the holes are taped on the underside right now. was told that if i got the holes welded up ( then re paint the trunk ), as thin as that metal is it would warp?

also, didnt some v6 cars have wingless trunks?

before and after.....sorry for the chitty quality, cell phone pics

Yes you can probably find a trunklid for cheap from a V6. Most didnt have them in 94-95 I thought.

I didnt always have one . I put one on after I swapped the 5.0 in.

looks good, I have always liked spoiler delete on lowered cars.......

when I removed the front license plate on my Lightning I found some plugs at Pepboys, they had a lot of different sizes, I then scuffed them and painted them with touch-up paint. They may have something that will work for you.

You could always use carriage bolts. I like the spoiler though, I think the cars look naked without them.

Let me put it this way... I don't like the fact that the first think you notice about the car is that there isn't a spoiler.

I have to side with Adam. Not crazy about wingless. My attention goes straight to the trunk. Now stop posting pictures of my car!

picked up some plastic flush, thin headed push pins and some silicone at carquest, $7. this should keep the water out and make for a 'ok' look. no luck finding actual plugs. before i put these on, in the event that i want to put my wing back on, is the silicone going to create a problem ( ie- will it act like super glue, will take the paint off )?

I found some Plugs at a Lowe's that worked great on my Crown Vic PI.
They have been on there for 5 years plus now.
Cheap too.
