I've got a 289 block bored .060 over and Edelbrock Performer Heads #6025. The only pistons i've found with a high enough static compression ratio are KB P/N#736.

This block will keep the 5.155 rod length and 2.870 stroke. Does anyone know if there will be any clearance issues between the two? I've called KB and they didnt have a clue as to what i was talking about. Thanks!

"high enough static compression ratio"

For what? Every engine build is unique. You will have to measure P2V clearance regardless. As well as push rod length, installed spring height, etc....

If you are trying to verify before you purchase, can you get just one piston?
