Play stupid games.....

So the 4x4’s that go through the Platte and Republican rivers when they are low are not just hard on equipment, but are breaking the law? As he flew over the ditch, they ought to really be in trouble.

Play stupid games... more money than brains...

And just like that A-Hole "Whistlin Diesel," he's a millionaire Youtuber with over a million followers and , making more ad-money than the NFL. smdh...

Just a good ole boy, making it the only way he knows how,and that's just a little more then the law will allow. Here haaa!

To be honest, the story just popped up on my phone's browser - probably because I look up stuff for my Ram fairly often. But I saw what he did and just thought he was dumb as hell for subjecting his truck that he paid however much for to do that just for YouTube hits. Aside from the mechanical issues he might (and probably did) do, there's the possibility of what it would do to his body. Maybe I place a higher value on self-preservation, but it's one of the dumbest things I can think of to do just for YouTube money. It seems that everyone is out to be the next Johnny Knoxville by recreating their own version of Jackass - and I thought that premise was dumb as hell too.

That truck has to have bent parts.
When I was younger and invincible, I probably caught air over a rough rail crossing. The car came down on a river rock. It gouged the frame rail and put a groove in the oil pan. No oil leak, and I later flattened it out. The shift needle scraped on the indicator, and the steering wheel still has a gap to the column years later.

I have too when I was young and dumb(er). I was around 17 when I ended up catching air with an 88 Festiva over a short berm, I was probably 10 feet in the air and come down hard on the front end. It still drove straight, but my steering wheel went from the straight up 12 o'clock position to around the 10 o'clock position. I wasn't actually trying to do that honestly, scared the hell out of myself. My cousin was in the passenger seat, laid back and without a seatbelt, he ended up bouncing off the ceiling. I think the only reason I didn't do the same is I had a death grip on the steering wheel and it caught my legs. Luckily nothing else really happened and I drove home - probably like an old man in comparison.....

This douche is notorious for BS videos. Im not saying that the vid is BS, but that the "legal repercussions" are. It looks like yet another attempt by a youtuber to gain views.

Was it orange with a flag on the top? I’m having trouble picturing a Festiva making a good stunt car.

Ohhhhhhh.... I think I get what you're saying. The [legal trouble] that he's in is manufactured. I could def see that.

I mean... WTF cares if he wrecks his own :poo: jumping a creek?

I dunno, I can see the possibility of those being actual charges. If, for no other reason, than to try to dissuade others from attempting similar feats. You know, kinda like the warning labels on Drain-o and rat poison. I mean it wasn't all that long ago where dumbasses were eating Tide pods. Who knows, maybe this guy was doing the same thing at some point.

Maybe but he's out in the middle of Pennsyltucky. If he were attempting to jump the river in Pittsburgh maybe, but a creek on private property? That part still doesn't make much sense to me unless he's trespassing.

I mean it's not so much for him and/or his situation, but since he's publicizing his stunts it could lead to "copycats." We all know how people need protected from themselves lest natural selection take over. That's the correlation to the Drain-o label warnings and such. They're basically saying "don't do stupid :poo: because if you don't die, you'll have to pay" while trying to come up with ways NOT to say as much. If death or dismemberment isn't a deterrent (because it's obviously not for some people...) maybe their bank account will be. Then again, you'd think going out and f**king up their $XXXXXX vehicle would do that concerning their bank account too, but I think we all know how stupid the general public really is....
