Please anylise 1/8 mile timeslip, estimates on 1/4?

The closest 1/4 mile track was rained out friday so sunday me and some friends went to the local 1/8 mile. Im not much of a fan of 1/8 mile but it was fun. Got some decent times i thought.

Anyways Im wondering what kinda 1/4 mile times im gonna be looking at next weekend (weather permitting)

Here is my last time slip from the 1/4, this is with full street trim and wheels. Now the 1/8 mile time slip from today is with skinnies and slicks (20psi) and all the weight i could remove from the interior. (subbox, seats, tire, etc.)

Is there a chance for the 10's here... Im really wondering cause the car felt really strong and pulled the wheels like in first and second... Oh and i also got it retuned sence the last time..

BTW.. my best MPH today was 98.46. I was so wanting to break 100.

Going to be close, you might need another tenth in the 1/8 to get the 10sec pass but your right on the edge for it.

I ran your first quarter mile time slip in the 1/8 mile calculator and it was 3 tenths slow and then I ran the 1/8 mile timeslip and it was .3 away from the 10 second zone. I'd say it's possible. A high 1.5 sixty would be great.

Im really not expecting a 10 but wondered if it was even really feasable... Anyways.. like i said i had about 20 psi in the tires so if i let some of that out i should be able to cut some better 60's...

I forgot how much fun it is to launch on slicks... I was also launching around 3500-4000. Wasn't trying to break anything today. I figured i would save that for the 1/4..

Im not sure on race weight?

Yeah its gonna be close.. Bad thing is im probably only gonna get one try.. Depends on if they notice if i have a roll cage or not.

BTW, what was your Setup? T-Trim 302 right? What kinda fuel were you running? How come your switching to NA? I know your plans are to do a high rev 347.. How come you don't do like AFM's and wind it too 8 grand? (keep it reliable?) I talked to Danny and he said that they just put nitrous on that high rev 347 car. thing ran 10.3's NA.

Yea was a 302/T-trim, running 104 octane 3575lb race weight. The reason for switching to NA is I've never had a strong NA car before, I had the blower for 4 years even had it on my stock motor. Just want to try something new and learn something new...tuning an NA motor is alittle different than tuning a supercharged motor. Well the cam that I am running, the N91, has a 6800-7200rpm shift point (8,000 + if you have titanium valves), and with my heads and intake and compression...7000rpm is going to be a good shift point. Yea I talk to Brian Koestner almost everyday at AFM, the 347 hi-rev car is Rick's car. Car made 475rwhp on motor, and made 688rwhp on the 250hp direct port nitrous kit they sell....something in the motor gave though. They were at the limits of that B50 block. Also, Marc Arnold (webmaster for AFM) got his 9.99 sec pass a few weeks ago...347 N/A 8200rpm shift point. Brian @ AFM helps me out a lot on things...good guys to work with.

I would say that pass was good for a low low 11.
You are right there though!
Good job!

I think you's need atleast a 1.6 to go 10's.

I have eibach pro kit, strange adjustable shocks and struts, and upper and lower control arms...

But i say the best part of my suspenssion if you can call it part of my suspension are my MT' drags... 20 psi and only like 8" wide and yet they hook like a mo-fo.

i'm guessing that pass was on its way to a 11.2XX... i agree that you'll need more 60' to dip into the 10s... very nice run, i hope you see 10s soon!!
