The Couve
O.k so I am getting ready to do a bit of work and so far this is my plan. I am keeping my stock shortblock right now but going with a set of the thumper heads, trickflow intake with 3/8th's spacer.

The car right now has 19lb injectors in it and I personally love the sound of a very lopy cam. The car also has a built AOD in it with 2,800rpm stall and 150 shot of nitrous, which I plan on dropping down to a 100 shot.

I guess my question would be what would be the largest cam that I could get away with that would still keep me emissions legal? When asking around I have gotten the FMS E cam or the TFS1 cam but I am not sure which one to go with and would love some advice.

I've had both in my car and the stage 1 would be my choice. I am only running the E cam to stay completely CARB compliant. The stage 1 shouldn't have any problems passing smog and has some good lope. As for smog it really depens on how the rest of your engine is doing too. You will never know till you pull up to the smog station.
