Need some help with a 1700-2000 rpm miss/buck. Car runs smooth above the aformentioned RPM and at WOT. I can feel the miss when reving the car in N or when crusing under a load. Any ideas? Thus far I have changed the COPs and backed down the timing a few degrees. No change

have you checked your plugs? any exhaust leaks? how many miles on the motor? you might want to get a compression test. In all honesty, you would have been better off w/ Motorcraft replacement COPs, but you've already spend the money on the Granatellis so I won't suggest replacing those.

ouch...another one that has my same "gremlin". I warn you now...if it is the same gremlin as I have..."the force is strong with this one". my tuner fought with it and made it better but the gremlin was winning until I bought a JLT CAI for my car to replace the BBK "hot-air intake" that was on my car when I bought it. Now my car is correcting the tune and is driving better every minute. btw..I replaced injectors,MAF,fuel pump, plugs, fuel filter, 8 COP's with all motorcraft. everything helped for a short time but never got rid of it.

Thanks for the input. I do think I am fighting the same Gremlin. I am considering a tune as I'm running a steeda ta and can only adjust overall timing. Hopefully something can be done. Just I wish I could figure out what is causing this problem.

This also happens to my 04 cobra after installation of a kenne bell 2.2L @11psi. It pisses me off and I would like to get it fixed. Livernois did the installation and my local mechanic tried to solve the problem with a dyno tune but it really didn't change anything. I have new injectors and kenne bell TB but stock MAF. I remember comming across a thread a long time ago that recommended cleaning the MAF (or replacing it), does anyone think this would work?
