plenum vs bullitt intake data

okay I took some data over at MD and added my own twist. it was an automatic bolt on gt vs manul bolt on gt. same mods. one with bullit intake one with c&l plenum. the bullit had advantages in the head to head test but when you add is a 3% compesation for drivetrain advantage for the manual. very interesting results. I will say if you were building an all out righ reving engine it looks like the bullit shines. but for bolt on gt's I am not so sure. I also don't know about the converter on the automatic car. I am sure he has a stall converter just don't know the rpm.

i only gain about 15hp.. but that was before the full exhaust..
Also when i bought my bullitt intake the C&L was not even a prototype..
$$$$$ I got my intake for $1300 which was everything installed..
the C&L max $250 and $400 with a new throttle body + if you have it installed

now the bullitt has a aluminum lower intake.. the C&L you get to use the great plasic stock one.. thus for porting and polishing.. the bullitt wins

In one of the mags 5.0 or MM&FF they tested a 00' cobra, Bullitt, and a Mach 1
the bullitt was the winner.. Only diff from a GT and a bullitt is the intake and the cam

Now that my vortec fund is complete! my intake should really come to life.. I hope..
