POLL! What wheels?? Machined 03 Cobras or Polished Eagle 077 Saleen Replicas??? Vote!

I came across a set of machined 03 Cobras with the stock Eagle F1's for $400....or stick with the Saleen Replicas I have now. The wheels I have now have Nitto 555 and 555r tread on them, but I can probably swap the tires onto the new rims for free depending on which one I like better. At the moment, I dont think I can keep both sets and just change back and forth (Im looking for a beater too) so its one or the other. Food for thought, this summer my car will have a Saleen s281 spoiler, saleen front bumper, saleen side skirts and a saleen back bumper..... but these are REPLICAs so they are NOT as nice as real ones, and I see them on rangers, mitsubishis and a number of other cars which is kind of degrading. And more food for thought, these new rims are 17x9, and I think there is a company that makes a 17x10.5 replica so I would have 17x9/17x10.5 with street tires....and then take the other 17x9 and put some sticky tire on it for the track. What do you all think?

03 Cobras, I love saleens but I have never been a fan of those eagle replicas, in your pics they seem to look pretty damn good, but my bro had them on his faux saleen and I didnt like them much at all. Personal prefrence though. Its up to you.

I dont think there would be that big of difference between the 2. I mean...the only upgrade i would think about in your shoes would be to 18's.

I think i would just keep that $400 and put it into something else.

But if u want an answer, in 17's, i think the 03 cobras look better. But in 18's...the saleen look is KILLER. The design of the spokes on each one warrants that IMO. The saleen looks so much better with the longer spokes.

I used to have them on my sixer. Not any harder than any other polished wheel. I like polished a lot....not too much of the "bling factor" but looks better than a regular machined wheel.

This is too hard. I like em both. But if you stick with the Saleen reps, I would go buy the factory centers for them. I know they are pricey, but to me they make all the difference in the world. I'm a big fan of the 03 Cobra rims also though...

get the machined 03's man...they are one of my favorite wheels, and they look awesome with black...and $400 w/ tires is a steal...

Get either in machine finish and make them almost chrome with Charlie's polish.

Get the machined 03 cobras! I've had my machined 03 cobras for almost a year now, and if I had to do it again, I'd get 'em over again.

Looks like I might have 4 sets of rims now! I found a set of the stock 99-01? 5 star rims with tires for $100, so I bought those because its cheap, im trying to buy these 03 cobras and then I already have the polised ones and my stockers! Different rims for different weeks!
