So where is this buttonwillow and are we talking about Drag Racing? If so, do they give you time slips?

Button willow is a road course and is up past Bakersfield going on 10-29 through 10-31. As for the drags, that would be LACR around 11-5-04.

Hey folks...

Sorry I have been MIA the past few days. I have been slammed at work and I'm also getting ready to move. Joe can attest to the mess I have to deal with. I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you guys know I'm still here and ready for the next mod party, just need to get this move finished.

Hey Dustin.....Drop it like it's hot!! LMAO

Yeah, but It's full from what I understand. Rusty and I were talking about it but by the looks of the e-mail we got it was full. It was out in Chatsworth or Canoga Park I think.

Rusty: You gonna still try and make it out?

Yeah, I e-mailed Marlon to see if I could get on a waiting list or something. He said to just show up by 8:30 and they'll would work me in. I want to see what the Accufab did for me. Its the only mod since our dyno day at Bottle Blown. With this pull, I will have a baseline to compare when I get Cams and BBK shorty headers.

Here's the info. from Marlon:

I am sending out this reminder about the Dyno Day that is set up
>for Saturday, October 23rd 2004 9:00AM till we are Done :o)

>$50.00 for 3 pulls, Computerized print out, HP / Torque / Air/Fuel
>You will pay them directly, This is a fun event no one is making any
>money on this event, It is for all of us to have a chance to get together

All,

Button Willow is that weekend, not planning on running, however we can dyno there to see who has the most HP after all the mods you boys have been doing. :nice: The strip would be cool after the next Stang Nite, maybe we can get a few more locals to head out there with us.

Dustin,

As far as loud pipes go yours are not that loud, they are, as Tony would say, "MICKY FRICKY LOUD!!". Not too bad when you accelerate but when you decellerate you can tell there is little if any Back Pressure, BAP BAP BAP BAP was all we heard. I have a feeling yo may be seeing more of that car your son liked, however your may be olive drab green. :D I hope not though, but you will be drawing MAJOR attention.

Ya that is the "Big one"...buttonwillow. Looks like I will have a Ford Gt here the 25 or 26th...Ford racing trailer 27 28th..then the Buttonwillow event and Sema show... to much fun to call it work.

On my way out to pick up a 1980 "Martini" Atlantic race car for a display....neat car....1:18 lps at Willow springs big track
