Man what a process. First the sanding, then the degreaser, then the rust pre(metal ready). Then rinse wait for it to dry and then you can put on the first coat. Sucks! The have to wait again to put on a second coat. I have been working on the car since 10:00 and finished with the first coat at 4:00. Just felt like complaning lol.

Just be ready to spend time on your car if your going this route.

What's rust pre???

I just purchased the paint and expected to paint bare or rusted metal with it. Am I missing a step or treatment?

If you go to do this get the Paint from Eastwood that is similar to POR 15 except it has superior UV Resistance.

i plan on doing this to my cars underside. I have a little hole in my floor pan that I have to patch so when i do that im going to do all the seams and torque boxes n such. Hopefully it will slow the corrosion down. I HATE DRIVING MY CAR IN THE WINTER!!!!
