I am going to make my first trip to the tracks coming up soon, and I am just curious what some of you have been running 99-up GT's in the quarter mile. Stock GT's as well as those of you who have modded your Mustangs. My Roush II is stock save for suspension work, cold air intake and magnaflow mufflers. I'm just curious about real-world times. Thanks in advance for all posts!

Shoot for mid 14s so that you won't be disappointed.I ran a hair under 14.1 when I was bone stock. It will be mostly dirver that determines what you run. With my mods I ran the time in the sig, but since, I have done a couple more things and bought some drag radials, so we'll see what happens whenever i get time.

Well one thing I learned about the 4.6 is that it's affected by heat. Last fall and this spring I was running easy 14.2's with my stock vert with a best of 14.107. This summer my best has been a 14.4xx with an easy 14.6 . Now I know all engines are affected by heat but my cousins 350Z loses .1 at the most from spring to summer.

13.86 with DRGAS o/r X, flows and pro 5.0
14.05 with 410s FRPP alum d/s and factory hpipe

both done in my 99, got slower when I put the gears in, probably since I put the converters back on and I cant drive the best

I went to the track on the worst possible day with street tires and ran a 13.2 at 104. What are you other auto conv with supercharger running.I think if i go back when the weather is colder and not 90% humidity the car will go a 12.7

auto vert probably mid to high 14's. Dont be shocked if you run even high 14's first time out , even with a 5 spd. I'm afraid I havent had a chance to get to a track(none around where I live that I know of) I plan on making a trip Gainesville soon.
