Post 1/4 mi. times!!

my time in sig. that was w/stock goodyears w/almost 20k on them so my 60' SUCKED, dunno why but mine seems to be quicker than most, trust me it aint the driver, vert is gonna b slower and i beat a stage II when i was stock to they may be a tenth slower on top of that, anybody know about that for sure???

100% stock I only had 2 runs. 1 a 14.74 95.? w/a 2.38 60' and a 14.80 at 94.? w/ a 2.43 60'. :notnice: Air temp was some where in the mid 80's and humid as hell in early July.

:nonono: With my 4.10's and u/d pullys, my best time so far is a 14.54 at 93.? and my best 60' time is a 2.04. Same air temps and humid as hell. This was at the end of July. Not to mention on the stock $hitty Goodyears with 24psi and only launching at 2,500-2,800. If I launch any higher than 2,800, I do nothing but spin the tires. I need DR's bad! :bang:

I ran 14.3 @ 99 with my heavy vert with mods below. I am at 970 feet and it was 85 degrees at 94% humidity. That equates to a 13.8 @ 102 compensated for those conditions.

To run fast you must do the following:

1 - Drive your car like you hate it!
2 - Loose some weight...as much as you can.
3 - Drop your rear tire pressure to about 20 psi and raise your fronts to 45 psi. This will aloow you to launch at higher rpms.
4 - Pull out your passenger side head light.

My run above was done "streetable" which means I did not pull the head light, change pressure, or drop weight. I wanted to see what the car would do first w/o those changes. With these changes, I am hoping to drop my times by as much as .4, cooler weather such help another .2 or .3 or so. My car should be capable of mid 13's all day long.
