I will probably buy a shortblock stroked to 427, etc ($$). Now, based on that what have you guys seen for the best h/c/i combos for an engine like this? Im talking hp/ tq. Thanks!

BlackVert 15 Year Member Oct 3, 2003 5,589 9 98 Bethesda, MD Nov 23, 2006 #2 Nov 23, 2006 #2 Low-5.0 has the most kick a$$ 351 based stroker i have seen, check his sig. get a pre-1975 or post 1985 block. 75-85 were not good my combo is similar to his in some ways ... 408 (+/-) flavor, AFR heads, custom cam, kooks headers. he has AFR 225s, mine are AFR 205s. he has a Victor EFI intake, mine will be a RPM intake. I'm going for a lower rpm range he puts down 449 at the wheels i don't have dyno numbers yet. it is still being put together. i am hoping for 450 at the wheels too
