i would love to get the emblems shaved, but that means repainting the freshly painted fenders and trunklid, oh well, i might do that later...but for now i just got the tribar pony emblems..i wish there was only 1 hole there so the pony alone would cover it..

I did the V6 emblems. I like the look. I left mine as is though because i like the red.white.blue scheme and the chrome matches the silver well

And if anything thinks my car is a V6, they are a moron, but this should help on the trunk

Off a 2000 Explorer/mountaineer. It's a side fender emblem. No pics, just line up and stick

so is there holes behind the GT trunk emblem? the V8 one wont have things on the back to go in the holes, just stick it on? just stick it over the holes im guessing. im defineately doing this.

No, there are no holes behind the trunk GT emblem. It's the same trunk V6's come with so they are left blank. Only the Ford emblem has holes on it on the trunk. So when you take the GT off the trunk, it's clean and flat underneath

94-98s have a hole about 1/2" diameter behind the badges. I had to have them filled in when I got the car painted.

I like the 40th aniversary badge cause people (non stang civilians) always stare
at it trying to determine if it is a GT or not. The look of confusion on thier face
is priceless
