The rears of these cars are starting to grow on me. It's hard in pictures but in person it all comes together rather nicely and is a pretty bad looking car. I hate having time off from work...I'm starting to get bored and my mind wonders...usually into car debt lol.

My 2006 Redfire GT

Here is my new 2006 and my 1988 GT. Picked it up about 3 weeks ago. The 2006 is a GT Premium with only the honey comb taillight panel insert added to the car. Picked it up with only 17,500 and paid 17,500 for it. Pretty sure got a good deal. Red leather 5speed car.

What is your plan for the 5.0?

Well i've had the 5.0 for almost 10 years now so its not going anywhere. It has a few mods, but needs some tuning or something to get it running properly. Still to go is some brake and suspension upgrades, then paint and body work, then re-do the interior. After that i'm thinking some boost

Here's a couple new ones. Stage 1 of preparing for my big shoot is ready. Added the SHR Legend chin spoiler. Other than a banner, the exterior is done (except for needing a serious detail). Seriously, I haven't washed it for like a month, and it hasn't been garaged. I don't know how it's not much worse than it is. Just a snapshot with my point and shoot, with a bit of Photoshopping.

your windows are open so don't know if you have tint or not. If so, what % do you have? I alway like to go darker than I'm supposed to... haha... I like 5% if I can get away with it, though in KY 35/25 (front/rear) is legal here...so I'm wayyyyy illegal

Fronts are 35%, back is 15%. Back is legal. Front is illegal in Illinois, but I spend a lot of time accross the river in Iowa, where 35% is legal. No tint is allowed on the front windows. I drive with my windows down a lot anyway, but when they're up, I usually don't get hassled. You can still see me and I don't break traffic laws.

Here's a better pic to show the tint.

hey dark could you post a picture close up on the agent 47 mirrors? i am ordering them soon along with a chin spoiler, and i plan on painting them the exact way you have yours.

i haven't seen a set in person so i would like to have an idea of how i could break it off between color and the black.

I have 5% all around on my Ranger... The only time its a little too much is when I'm backing up at night and theres no street lights around - I have to roll down the windows sometimes to see...

There's a seam right where the mirror housing meats the mount. That's where you stop. If you have them painted this way, the black will have to be and painted black, even though it's already black. Otherwise, you'll have some seams showing that won't look right.

Just a few pictures from last year on my car. I have not taken any with the winter mods like hood struts and engine dress up bits etc.

in MI, you can tint the rear window and any side / back glass limo black, but the drivers / passengers windows (and obviously the front windshield) can't be darker than factory

I first thought it was stupid, because - what if you are wearing sunglasses ? won't that basically have the same effect = blocking the sun - so why not be able to tint those windows ?

but I guess its more for protection of the Police Officer .... if the driver or passenger has a gun after getting pulled over, its not going to be a surprise once the window is rolled down

Exactly. If you keep it 35% or higher, you usually won't get harassed because they can see you.

around here depends on the area you live in. Some will hassle sports cars more than big cars or trucks. Kentucky is realatively rural, so lots of pickups with tint outside the city. Kind of the "buddy system" you might say

I just got a ticket for having 35% tint on my windows, and I was pulled over again for it about 2 weeks later.

I think cops used to let you go for stuff like this, but now they're desparate to make money, so they're cracking down.

Yeah, it totally depends on your area.
