Some BS happened with my Ordering processes so i need to re-order my MM subframe connectors....I had originally ordered them Bare metal but show i just pay the extra cash and get the powdercoat?

I just had VT Stage 2 cams and MM XL-Length SFC's installed. Hate to break it to you, but the SFC's are a mental thing.. I wouldn't know they were there or not if I hadn't seen them under there. The only difference is going over bumps 1 wheel at a time.

It doesn't matter. Save the cash, buy the bare metal and paint them with a good rust-inhibiting spray paint.
Not like you are ever gonna say "Hey, check out my subframe connectors! They are powdercoated!"

you can't weld powdercoated ones, so I'm assuming they are botl on? Or you have to grind the PC off to weld them on?
One company is still open, and one is out of business.
Get the PC ones. You can't adhere spray paint the same way the PC process does. True, you have to grind off the PC the areas where you weld, but that area is small and you can spray over that anyway. It doesn't cost that much more.

bought mine for 130. 5 bux for rustoleum black and sprayed 2 coats each and all the rails and gussets. than had the welder touch up the welds when he was done.

Kenny Brown has a pretty good reputation among Stangers, especially back in the day when there were less companies out.

Ones set is as good as the other, just make sure whatever set you get, they're full lenth, weld in, and come with cross braces for maximum strength.
As far as powder coating vs. bare metal. The thought of powder coating is cool and all, but hardly practical and more of a gimmick for them to make money in this case. I made my own set for my '87 LX years ago and ran them for 5-years with nary a spot of rust on them. No powder coating is going to hold up any better than that under constant exposure to the elements.
Get the bare metal ones, spray them with zinc primer and a good quality rust paint and never look back!

i have the MM full length bare metal ones. i just painted them black. its not worth the extra for powder coating

Like I told him earlier, the difference is small ($30.00) and you'd spend close to that for primer and paint and it will never stick as good as the powdercoating will.
No one listens to me.
I have the KB Super Subs and they were good for when i bought them almost 10 years ago but the MM and Steeda are thicker and stiffer...So get the MM
