Got the powerdyne install done earlier today (9lbs). i dont have the C&L maf in yet so the stock maf is having fun with the 30lb injectors. here is the question. the engine seems to cut out in upper rpm. am i just pounding too much fuel into the engine. are the injectors clipping with the high pressure from the fmu? they are sieman deka injectors. i unplugged the fmu vaccum hose on the way home from work today and it idle 1000x better and ran better in the upper rpms. i thought that i might have the fmu hoses on backward but they aren't and i double checked, anyone else have any ideas? would the fmu add fuel in vaccum if the fuel lines were switched?

thanks

Did you just say you're running a stock EEC-IV and a stock MAF with 30# injectors?

ETA: Post some pics! New blower pics rule. :nice:

haha you heard right, stock computer and stock maf, the c&l will hopefully be here either monday or tuesday, i think taking the fmu vaccum line off just let extra air in to help burn the horribly rich mixture at idle and low load. hopefully once the maf gets on she will act right. or else....

i will post pics tomarrow if i can figure it out.

install was pretty easy, just take your rime and ready the directions 2 and 3 times, and the pictures are nice too. took about 12 hours to install.
