Forced Induction Prepping for supercharger on non-stock build

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum (first post). I'm looking for good resources (any type) to help me prep for a supercharger setup on my 91 Fox GT. The car is not stock. Below is the current build. Looking for any advice anyone is willing to give. Thanks in advance!

Block: 427 ford performance short block, part # M-6009-427F

Heads: Ford Performance Z-head aluminum assembled cylinder head: part # FMS-M6049Z304DA

Head Gasket: Ford Performance Parts Performance Cylinder Head Gaskets, Part # FMS-M-6051-R351

Rocker Arms: Scorpion Race series rocker arms 1.65 Pontiac 7/16, Part # SCC-SCP1053

Lifters: Lunati Street performance retro-fit hydraulic roller lifters

Intake: Edelbrock 351 EFI Super Victor

Fuel Injection: Holley HP ECU for multi-Port EFI

Fuel Injectors: Holley 66 lb/hr

Fuel Rails: Edelbrock

Fuel Pump: Holley 255 LPH in tank pump

Fuel Regulator: Holley billet fuel regulator

Distributor: MSD

Transmission: Tremec TKO 5 speed

Cam: COMP Cams Xtreme Energy Retrofit D288/294, L0.555/0.576

Timing set: COMP Cams magnum double roller timing set

Driveshaft: ford racing 3.5 inch aluminum

Flywheel: Ford racing SFI neutral balance flywheel, Part# M6375-D302B

Alternator: 75 Amp NAPA brand

Radiator: Frostbite 4 core

Water Pump: Hi-flow

Fans: Perma-Cool 12.5 inch x2 (rated at 2300 cfm each)

Engine Oil: 10-30

Oil Filter: Motorcraft FLA1
AC: Sanden

Air Filter: K&N racing filter

Oil Pan: Ford Performance, part # FMS-M6675DRS351

Oil Pump Pickup: Ford Performance, part # FMS-M6622DRS351

Oil Pump: Melling High Volume, Part # MEL-M83HV

Headers: BBK shorty

Pulley Set: BBK

Exhaust: MAC, No Cats, Full 3 inch with X-pipe

It is all going to depend on how much boost you are going to run and what you hp goal is. If you can tell us what your hp (at the crank) goal is and what the car is going to be used for (street, track, etc.) that will help. You are going to be pushing the fuel pump, stock fuel pump hanger (the size of the connections), fuel lines, and the injector rails to their limits so you may want to look at a complete fuel system.

I haven't seen that Harrop kit before, i guess the price is high, but pretty much all kits like that cost a ton these days, we were just used to $2000 vortech kits, so most superchargers seem expensive to people that have been around a while.
I'd be curious on how it fits under a hood, i always thought one of the issues wth screw type superchargers on pushrod 302s was that when you put the intercooler under the intake, it made the engine too tall.

Your list is impressive, but running electric fans with the 75 amp alternator not so good for your Holley electronics.
You'll likely be in the 6-700ft. lbs. Of trans shredding power and the tko will be tko'ed .

small typo on first post. actually now running a 125 amp alternater and yes i did have issues with the original electric fans not spinning at full power with the 75 amp alternator...car actually overheated and blew a head gasket...switched to the 125 amp and contour fans and overheating was solved.

I'm not a fan of electric fans on a blower car. In Texas my Procharged 93GT wouldn't stay cool with electricals. Stock type clutch fan. Now that was with a 3 core intercooler up front stealing airflow. Any your fuel system isn't enough, unless you run 5 lbs of boost. AND TRUST ME, THAT WILL HAPPEN FOR 5 MINUTES-MAYBE.
