Private Aftermarket WARRANTY????

I found a 02 ford diesel truck with 165k on her in mint condition, private owner. for 13k. I am fine with the price but want to know if there is any aftermarket warranty companies that will sell to me since Im not a dealer

Looking for a drivetrain warranty for an extra 20-40k miles.

Who to go to and who to run from, need to know ASAP, dont want to loose the truck.

Help me out guys!

from what ive heard, aftermarket warranties on diesel trucks hardly cover the problematic parts since they are considered "wearable items". I dont know if any company would agree to a warranty at that mileage regardless of fuel type, but there might be some company out there!!

I was in the market for a diesel too, but the repair costs and overall problems with turbos and oil leaks kind of turned me off. Good luck !

They off warranties that are good up too 100k, but after that, its a crap shoot.
