Problem After 89 5.0 Swap To 65

Hi, im New in here and have a Problem. I swapped a 5.0 efi from a 89 mustang To a 65 mustang and changed it to carburetor. I placed a 600 holley on it and changed to bigger primary Jets a bigger Power valve bigger acceleration nozzle and so on. My Problem is now without gear in it runs great in idle revs Good and fast acceleration from idle is also Good. When i want to drive it change in First gear, the engine acts like another. No acceleration hardly Not to Stall. Misfiring hesitate etc. Does anyone know this Problem?

If you had kept the EFI setup, the computer would diagnose the problem for you.

What kind of distributor are you running?
