Here is the deal, went to the track tonight. As soon as I took off the D/S was grinding on the floor pan. I had this same problem when the car was lowered 2 inches, but since then it has been raised back up with Drag Springs. Any help would be greatly aprreciated.

You sure its floorpan and not ebrake cable? Mine rubs ebrake cable occasionally. I dont see how it could hit the floorpan.

It sounds like the ebrake cable to me. It happened to me on my previous car so I had to grind the bracket a little bit.

Regardless. I thnk your problem is the bishings in the rear end. Get new control arms.

Mine was hitting the e-brake cable and/or the muffler depending on if I was launghing hard, brakin ghard, etc before i did these.

Yes it is the Ebrake bracket that is hitting, only thing is it does it the whole eight mile.

As for the rear end bushing they are all new UPR Race bushings and new control arms.

An easy fix- MAc & Ford racing sell adjutable pinion snubbers. It will help keep it away from the DS.

Well the verdict is in and the problem is....................

Tore the housing bushings in two with the tear goin towards the front of the car. Therefore allowing the rear to rotate up too far.

I tore the first DS in half from the e-brake bracket. Installed the pinion snubber and fixed the problem.
