Prochamber Fit and ground clearance

Well it's offical the damn passenger side cat on my BBK Catted X-pipe took a **** and it is starting to come apart inside. I have never been impressed with the ground clearance on this pipe, no matter what you do it always hangs lower than most catted x-pipes I see on cars so it's time to go with something different. I have always heard that Prochamber's sound great with Flowmasters so I will probally go with this. Question is how is the ground clearance with them? Also if anyone has any pictures of there car with the prochamber side shot to show the clearance that would be great. Problem is that there are a few speed bumps that are way taller than they need to be near my house and I dont want to be draging the pipe across the top of them. Thanks for the help guys.

This isn't alot of help but there is a dude on here with a Bullitt that says his Prochamber scrapes with just his stock Bullitt height.

Really, that sucks. His car is a little lower than mine but not much I guess. How much lower are the bullits than stock gt suspension?

btw.. i do own an prochamber =] not installed anymore but i had it on my car with no problems at stock height.

just use a jack and tighten the whole system up.

Yeah I know that technique with the floor jack, I did it with my BBK Catted X and it helped but those damn cats where still to low for my liking. Hopefully with the Prochamber I can get it tucked up in there pretty good.

you should be able.. long as your hangers are still functional. If your hangers are busted/broken that chamber is going to drag no matter what.

Good to hear. Yeah my hangers are good to go. Damn car only has just under 12,000 miles on it, did'nt think that I would be changing this x-pipe out this soon but oh well.....**** happens I guess.

Yea, my pc scrapes on some big speed bumps, its not too bad though, but you can hear it, i also have to watch the little bullitt mudflaps on those speed bumps so i have to go over them slow anyway, i usually just go one tire before another and dont have a problem. I have scraped it pretty good on some shopping center entrances here in sacramento, usually when i have more than one other person in the car weighing it down. Overall, its not too bad, just have to kinda pay attention. I am on the stock bullitt springs which are .75" lower than a stock gt springs. Dont let that stop you from buying the pc, it sounds badass, such a good combo of a h and x pipe.

No worries, i would say to try to find it used, ive seen them for under 200 bucks. I bought mine straight from mac and it costed me almost 300. You gonna hook it up to those flows? Pretty classic combo, there is a link in my sig to to a vid of my set up.

I am still shopping around for the best deals right now. Lethal Performance has a decent price and a 5% holiday discount. Gotta keep looking around hopefully I can find one better than that.

my car is lowered and I have a catted PC, no scrape except on super aggressive speed bumps.

I have a catted Prochamber, and I am lowered about 2 inches. The cats on the Prochamber scrape often on speed bumps unless you CRAWL over them. Otherwise, they don't scrape during normal driving. If you are not lowered, you should be just fine!

Mine scrapes only on reallly big bumps.

Got Eibachs on mine, Pro chamber AND Super 40's (thicker than 40's), and it really is not bad at all, unless the bumps are huge tall.
