I got a chance to buy a proffesional products typhoon intake, 65mm TB, EGR spacer all for 275 dollars...

I think I might get it...

this is going on a stock application though..

Agreed, its a pos

its not given the care and time that edelbrock does to theirs. and you have to port it and get all the flash out, but if your gonna do that then i guess its your money

I had my engine builder clean up the runners a little bit, but other than that, it has worked out fine for me. No problems whatsoever...

Also, there are some dyno sheets with this intake out there somewhere with a good write up as well. I wouldn't take, "It's made in China and it sucks!" as concrete information. Just my opinion.

does it flow on par with the edelbrock style intake?

I'd touch it up myself...

I got to look at it first though, for all I know it might be good enough box stock.

but the intakes gona be thrown on with the mods I got on the sig..

Not that it really matters but i was watching Hot Rod Tv. Well they had a edelbrock intake and a Professional Products intake and they showed how much better quality the Edelbrock was, the professional products gaskets didnt even align properly. if it was me i would save my money and buy a TrickFlow street

The PP intake will flow more than enough for your set up, actually might be too big, it flows MORE than enough for mine at close to 300RWHP. Is it the best....NOPE, but for 302 NA setup the $ vs.the performance vs. the appearance, it is a great choice for an H/C/I combo that lives in the 2000-6000 range. Now if you're going to go with that "made in china" crap then go look at the origin of your TV, Radio, DVD, Blender, Hairdryer,oh yeah...mustang reproduction headlights/ tail lights (not all but definately some)..goes on and on.

I wanted a Bargain Performer and I think I found it...

so if it flows to much, maybe I shouldnt port it?

I was gona gasket match it and touch up the lower..

Throw it on and enjoy, porting might give you 2-3hp nothing your going to miss on a mild modded car, put it on and keep us informed.

bought one used for 120 shipped. cant beat that. they quality looks pretty good. couple of touch ups w/ the dremel and it looked very nice. made in china nonsense is all bs. edelbrock doesnt care bout you nor do they care about your money thats why they are taking it. it really gets on my nerves all this bs about made in china. why not screw everything and live like cavemen. dont get me wrong I am no commi but common here. thanks

I have one on my 347, love it. No problems either. Do a searce for PP throttle body once too.

As far a made in China..... Well thatas sorts hippracritical is'nt it. If thats the reason then return your Digital camera, stereo, DVD Player, Computer, etc because I asure you if you look at the back it say made in China, made in Japan, etc. So all of these things must be junk and you have to return them asap because they arent made in the USA. Think about it .
