Hey guys,

I have recently installed an electric Proform fan 67015 and I am having an issue with it.
Everything is wired to a fan controller, the fan turns on and off as it should but in stop and go traffic the coolant temperature rises quite a bit. If I am cruising steady the coolant temperature isn't an issue which leads me to think this is a fan issue. The fan is installed on the back of the radiator like the original fan and should be pulling air. The fan has one blue and one black wire going to it. I have used the blue wire as my 12v and the black as the ground making the fan spin clockwise. Is this correct for the fan to be pulling air in?

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

How many cfm is the fan rated for? Are you still running a shroud?

To check if its turning the right way just pop the hood and turn it on. You should feel the air blowing towards the engine.

I believe the is the same as the basic black tragic fan and is maybe good for a stock mustang. at best. Look at the box and it says it is rated at 225hp.

I no longer have the box, but my car is fairly stock with a few bolt on's but nothing huge. I'm thinking the fan is just to small of the application but its listed for the Foxbody which you would think there wouldn't be an issue.

Does this phone have a fan shroud or is it just zip tied to the radiator if it doesn't have a shroud it's not going to do its job

I agree with the junk yard fan. They're the same thing for like 20 bucks. Mine is a 2 speed off either a focus or contour and I have it wired to just always run on high and it moves a ton of air.

As long as it's pulling air into the car it should be fine. I ran 2 of these in the past with no issues.
