programmer? rich condition

i tried searching but just got more confused.

we just put my car on the tester because my check engine light came on. The testor told us that the engine is rich. My dad is a chevy guy so he doesnt know about mustangs and said he didnt know if i need a programmer or if i can get a ROM flashed or something like that i dont know... i just drive the damn thing.

Anyway my mods are 3.73s, american thunder flowmasters, and a c&l 76mm mas air system.

do i need a programmer? and where can i buy one? any help is much appreciated

Your MAF sensor is probably making it run rich, either that or your O2's are going bad (I thought they read lean when they go bad tho, I could be wrong). If you have the stock MAF sensor, put it back in and see if it makes a difference after a day or so of driving.
