You can use a solid bottom grommet to plug the hole on the passenger cover, it works just fine and Mr.Gasket sells them. I havee actually started milling the Holley intake a little on the underside to gain clearance if needed.
I just put a set of the Ford Racing chrome valve covers over a 1.7 Scorpion rocker on a AFR185 and fit a Holley without any clearance issues.
Fill hole will be located under the TB when she's all buttoned up. They are not the traditional covers you see on EFI mustangs....but they do look gooooood.
I'm kind of nervous now, i have the same in-take and i wanted those same v/cs.. my intake is not black, but instead of chroming everything out.. i was going to blacken everything i could. do they make a smaller V/C that color?
where did you get that spacer from? i have a set of those same valve covers but in chrome and black. i would love to put them on my car lol. the project looks great man keep it up!
I practically stole the kit from some guy in OH! Haaaaaaaaa.
The passenger side valve cover is wide open for filling oil, no worries there. Im just bummed that I couldn't get away with just the one inch spacer. Just hope she runs good.
