Well, I have oficially transported the nowly names Project "Trauma" to the Auto Hobby shop. Boy was that a feat in itself. Anyways, if anyone would like to take a look, its in the back lot under overhead cover. Anyone know how to get the hatch open minus battery power to the switch and no key?

If someone would drop me a line at :
[email protected] and maybe we can get together this Sunday and take a look for a couple hours? All i really need is some advice on where to begin and what my total outlook is like.

Well if it's a stang, and since you're here.....

I can reccomend some stuff, sight unseen;
- sit down, preferably someplace quiet, and really ask yourself what do you want it to be when it's done. Were talking looonng term done. Then try to figure a plan of which mods will go together to support the ultimate plan, in smaller steps.
i.e.: ultimate goal "pro touring" (fast, corners, big brakes, etc) ... steps 1 chassis-subs/export brace/lowerKbrace, 2 brakes-sub groups-front and rear (could be done together, or one at a time) 3 rearend-axles/gears/housing etc, etc, etc...

This will save crazy cash in the long run buying and selling stuff you changed your mind about.

Now since you said "auto hobby shop", you must be in the employ of uncle sam.... so whats the budget? short term, and long term?

How bad of shape is it in? (no, come on, really?:D )

Well, thats some great advice. Thank you. I really am not sure what I want out of it just yet, all i know is short term goal of getting it to run!
But on a lighter note, it is in actually pretty good shape compared to some of the cars I have seen before. It has a complete clean interior, only 3 door dings on the outside that i can see, and no rust! The paint is shot to all hell, but I didnt want it that color anyways.

I think road racing would be a lot of fun to get into, but my true passion will always be the rush of heads up, 1 on 1, 1/4 mile at a time adrenaline rush of drag racing.
