Anybody looking for a brand new,0 mile stock 5.0L roller cam?

Probably not,but if you are,I was looking over the Federal Mogul website for brake parts when I decided to look up camshafts for 89`5.0L Mustangs and see that they list the stock 5.0L HO roller cam, part #CS760,based on the original 1985 grind.

Specs...

lobe lift,int and exh .278"

duration @.050"...210int/210exh

I asked Crane Cams tech dept quite a while ago if they knew the duration @.050" of the stock 5.0L roller cams.
They told me the original 85-late88 cam was 210/210 @050" and the revised late 88 and on cam was 206/210 @.050".

However these "official" figures can vary quite a bit when you actually measure one because they were not all ground accurately.

eg,Tmoss on this site measured his and got 219/212.5 @.050"

that makes sense, when I read the Car Craft article where they got 400hp out of the stock HO cam I figured the specs had to be a little more radical than what a lot of sources have published
