Hey guys, this is probably a dumb question but i have heard different instructions. I am seriously looking at buying new cams and installing them this winter. Do I have to pull the heads off to change the cams? I am going to have to change the springs with the grind that i want too. I have longtube headers so i really don't want to pull the heads if i don't have to. I have heard all that you have to do is to pressurize the cylinders with air to keep the valves in place when changing the cams and springs. Any ideas?

No. check out this how-to: http://www.modulardepot.com/?show=articlesdet&aid=39

Read the article that is linked above. Use a compressor with the correct fittings to fill your cylinders with air and if you want, you can use the AFM cam chain tool. I used it and it worked great. For $30 to save a few hours of work, I thought it was worth every penny.
