So heres the deal. I check my pushrod length today with a machinist ruler using 64th of an inch. So when i got the right length, i got 6.24 64th of inch.

So i believe that would be 6.2464.Now how would i convert that to inches,so i can get the right length?Any help would be greatful

thanks
Jesse

Did you use an adj. PR to get the length?

You should use one to make sure you get the length inside the pocket of the rocker and the cup of the lifter.

You also should use an adj. to make sure you have the correct travel/wear patt. on the valve tip.

If you have an adj. PR already, I know Comp will measure it for you. Just tape up the PR to "lock" it at the length needed and mail it to them.

You can also use a dial caliper if you have one long enough that way you do not have to do any conversions.

yes i used an adjustable trickflow pushrod. But I took the jam nuts off because they got in the way.Yes, i did mark the valve tip and got a mark that was centered in the middle

i have a digital caliper, but it only goes up to 6in.
