I decided to replace the junk 102k mile 302 in my '92 LX with a 347 shortblock.

I have AFR 165 heads and 24lb injectors now.

Are the 24's enough for a 347? Ive already got a 255 lph fuel pump in the car.

The cam that was in the stock motor was only made for 302-311 ci motors so I need a new one. Any recommendations?

The place Im getting the motor from recommended two Comp cams- 35-514-8 and 35-518-8.
One only makes power from 1600-5600 and the other makes power from 2600-6200. Im not really sure if either is the best for my car.

Right now theres a '93 Cobra MAF and computer in the car. Would it better to get that computer or the stock computer tuned?

Is there anything else Im going to need with the swap? I know I need a new oil pump and Im getting a new set of coolant hoses.

Those RPM ratings are meaningless in your application. The RPM the motor will make power is dependent on a lot of things and you're running 45 more cubes than those ratings assume.

With those little heads I would recommend the 35-522-8 XE282HR.

You're gonna need to go larger than 24's if you use the XE282 cam

How do I figure what the rpm will be for my car?

What size injectors will I need? I know new injectors means a new maf and that renders the Cobra computer useless.

I want the car to be streetable and I want to be able to drive it to work without issues. Its not a drag only car.
