Long story short.
Bought my '91 LX in 2002. The gent I bought it from said the E7 heads had the bigger valves. This was my first ford (Im a SB mopar guy) so I figured he meant something along the lines of 1.90/1.60 valves.
I had to replace the head gaskets a couple of months ago. When I took these heads off they had 2.02 intake and 1.45 exhaust valves. I measured them with a caliper. This seems a strange set up. Port and bowl work is unknown. The car does pull real well.
Why would someone put 2.02 intakes with the stock size exhaust valve in the E7 heads?
