I was wondering on your opinions on the pypes catted X-pipe. I have seen them for pretty cheap and could get one now or should I wait and get a better or more well known brand? I hate waiting so the fact that I could get the Pypes now really appeals to me and is there any differences in the gains between different X-pipes?

Thanks guys, I was just having some concerns about their quality because i remeber seeing somewhere that they corrode very easily. How are your X pipes holding up and did you have any problems with them?

FWIW, my MAC h-pipe is made of aluminized steel, and i have heard stories of them rusting. I bought some silver header paint that was supposed to be baked on. I cleaned the h-pipe with some paint thinner, and sprayed several coats of the silver. I did not bake it, instead I installed it and ran the car hard for about an hour. It has lasted one year, through a salty Minnesota winter, and still looks like new. In fact, it looks better than my MAC cat-back that supposedly has the corrosion resistant durablack coating.
