Q's about the Wilwoods

I have done several searches about the wilwood brake conversions at this site. I came across some issues that i need answered. First off i am going to be getting 16x8 wheels so wheel size won't be a problem. What my question is is those who have the wilwoods how much did the track change, exactly? What back spacing will i then need to get to accommodate the track change? I have a 69 coupe with drums. Your help one this will be greatly appreciated.

I can't speak for wheel size and fit for a 1969, but I would check this site-

http://www.dodgestang.com/mustang.htm

Dodgestang has compiled a list of setups that others are using on their mustangs. As for the wilwoods, according to the dealer I spoke with (says they're the largest in the U.S.) track width is increased 3/4 in. per side on a 1968. I believe that should register the same for a 1969. Call wilwood to double check. They were quite helpful when I spoke to them

I have a 69 FB that originally had drums and 14x7 wheels. I upgraded to 4 wheel Wilwood disks and 16x8 wheels. The max BS is 4.5 inches. Not sure about the track change zactly but your app can be done.
