Question about car registration

I just moved from Fredericton, NB to Calgary. My NB registration expires Sept 15/04 my inspection is up the end of Sept as well. My insurance is good until mid November though. I'm not sure how I should handle this. If I go ahead and pay my NB registration, is that the thing where they send me new stickers for my plates? Then I could just keep everything NB until mid November. But if I went that route, could I get an inspection sticker in my window from Alberta with everything else on the car being NB? The reason I'm holding off on switching everything now is because of the costs that would be incurred as well as having to put out the extra money for insurance when it's not really a good time since I'm almost broke from the move and am looking for work.

What inspection are you referrering to? Emissions?

I went and got my oil changed today and was asking the guy about inspections. He said that they don't do MVI's here in Alberta but that I would have to get some sort of out of province registration form from DMV and then bring it somewhere for an out of province inspection to be done and that it would cost about $120. :notnice:
