Engine Question about the Flex-A-lite 185 electric fan

Middle of the gauge is 200 deg, that's exactly where your engine likes the temperature. I see no problem with that.

From what I have read and done is you set the fan to come on at 10 deg higher than when the t-stay is full open. Typically takes 5-10 degrees for a t-stay to come full open so call it 7 degrees. T-stat full open at 187 fan set to come on at 197.

I run DCC fan controller on both my cars and just set the dip switch for the t-stat and forget about it.
