Does anyone on this forum have a turbo setup on their 96-98 COBRA? Second does anyone have a V2SQ on their 96-98 COBRA? How does it run compared to a GT with those setups? I just visited someone that has a 95 Cobra with a turbo setup and it was spectacular looking. He was telling me that the car gets some serious power from the turbo. So now i am torn between a PTK turbo setup and a V2SQ setup. I like the way a turbo spools when you need it but i don't like how it acts as a giant muffler taking away most of the mustang's "rumble" sound from the rest of the exhaust. Questions...comments?

Although I do not own either a turbo or centri blown DOHC. I have ridden in a Vobra, the experience was ... in a word .... INCREDIBLE!!!!
The acceleration after boost was intoxicating. Back in 98 when the kinks in the tune of a centri blown DOHC motors was worked out. They were the big boys on the street, much like the 03/04 Kobras of today.
Turbos were and still are a little more exotic.
The age old question remains, what do you want out of the car? Real big hp/trq numbers? Street or strip?
Either FI application is going to come with it's draw backs or short comings. Good luck finding someone with experience having both on their car. Be interested to see their opinion too.

I would hazard the comment .... similar, with bigger numbers per lbs of boost.
