I posted in the SVT section but I don't think they get the flow we do here?
Anyway heres the deal. We just installed some 18" chrome 00 Cobra R's on her 99 Cobra SVT vert, bright red.
She had some questions on exhaust. She wants to have more noise, so I took her outside and let her here mine. You can see my exhaust mods in my sig. She said thats what she wants but not quite as loud. So I said to start with replacing the mufflers only 1st. Then work her way foward untill she gets the desired noise.
Any other suggestions from you folks?

We put 275/35r18's on rear and 255/40r18's on the front. Looks great. It encouraged me to put some new tires on the rear of mine. I went with 275/40r17 on the rear. Still have the 245/45z17 on front. Mine looks better now.

is your car dumped? if she wants to pick up some performance too, tell her to get some 40 series delta flows (quieter) with a 2.5" H pipe and either keep the stock headers or get some long tubes. and run tail pipes. if she's not concerned with picking up peformance, tell her to keep the stock H and just get the flows and some shorties.

Mine used to be dumped untill I had the O/R pipe put on. At that time I had them install Stock tails back on.

I would replace the stock muff's with flowmasters or spintechs. the spintechs will probably be louder but IMHO have a completely different note and sound better than flowmasters.
