Yea my question is to all u guys that own one of these. My Question if u feel like telling me is how much total did u pay for the supercharger?? i have been looking at the kenne bell site and others for a while and i was waundering if the total one the price list for the kit was the actual total or was there any other costest involved?? what it says on the site is $4999.00 so if u could help clear up this issue for me that would be great.

And for those of u that have them how is the perofrmance verses other supers or are they vertually the same. I am basicly runing a stock motor so i am not going to have to much psi running threw it but i think 6 should deff. be enough for the time being.

im driving 8 hours to get this done. Kenne Bell is the best. And on stock internals and everything...6 is good, I've heard of 9, but I wouldnt push it.

Wow I think I'm actually getting smarter!

P.S.-to anyone that knows, can I drive my car to them and they put it on and tune it for me??? Because it says about shipping and stuff and before I thought they did it. I would rather them do it.

MPH is an authorized dealer who I would imagine stock a few. The price on their website is usually with all the fixings thrown in.

The 9 psi kit will run you around $5200 with shipping. That doesn't include any options like the CAI or boost and FP gauges. If you want to save $$ just keep your eye out for a used kit. Many people are upgrading to the bigger 2.2 or 2.6 after they build the bottom end.I just sold my 1.7 a month ago for $3700 complete with options.

Drop ship means you can't order it from them and have it sent to your house. They have to install it there.

The only way to order it and have it sent to you is from KB themselves.

so they do install it there and tune it? then why does it say

"This kit includes a Kenne Bell 2.1 intercooled kit @ 9 psi with install ,dyno tune and shipping."

It doesnt make sense. Here is the whole paragraph...

"This kit includes a Kenne Bell 2.1 intercooled kit @ 9 psi with install ,dyno tune and shipping. We custom tune your car on MPH's dyno.We have to install this kit, no drop shipping is available."

I paid about 6000.00 for mine with shipping to Hawaii and all the goodies. You can do the install yourself, it isn't that hard. Took me about 18 hours but I was taking my time and didn't have any help. The instruction manual is very well written and the KB tech support is awesome in the event you run into problems. The tune is accomplished by providing them with a list of your current modifications and a chip is custom burnt. I know people say the dyno is better but I have run my system for almost a year and have not had a problem or a complaint yet. OYA... Your gonna love it.

KB dealers MUST do the install themselves. If you're unable to drive to MPH then you must order directly from KB. KB sends a chip with the kit.

The price of MPH's KB Mongoose kit includes tune and installation.

They charge you for the shipping from KB to MPH. That's what they mean. Nothing's free.

I would suggest talking to Tim or Rhonda over on their forums at that site. You can ask them questions there and get all your answers straight from the horses mouth.
