I have a 99GT vert that I have transformed into a Saleen clone. The only two things that I still want to change are the brakes and the suspension. The only change that was done to the suspension was lowering springs.

I am now ready to upgrade my suspension but I would like some opinions on which direction to take. The two approaches that I had in mind was to go with either the Saleen original "Racecraft" setup or to go with a setup from "Maximum Motorsports". Any opinions on either of these or others that I might not have thought about? My budget is somewhere between 1500-2000 dollars.

i would definately go with maximum motorsports over saleen any day. what is you goal? do you plan on road racing or drag racing? that will effect your decision on what components to buy. i would suggest definately getting a panhard bar, that will help keep the diff centred in the corners. generally it is recommended that you setup the rear suspension before you start modifying the front suspension on mustangs.

im guessing youre going for the road and track kit. thats an execellent kit. you wont get the coil overs of the maximum grip kit, but it looks like you get pretty much everything else.

something to consider getting as well would be a reat strut tower brace. you will pretyt much lose all of your trunks functionality, but you will gain even more stiffness and resistance to chassis flex.
