Quick head question

those heads will suit your combo very well it looks like.

I'm getting the track heats, they flow the same but have a better valvetrain to allow for larger cams. They're about $100 more I believe. Just food for thought.

Since u have forged aftermarket pistons go AFR 185 stud mount or TFS TW 185 cnc'd head from Summit. and then swap out the cam for a Comp Cam XE282HR.

Get the intake port matched to the heads. u should see an easy 350/350 @ the RW, NA on pump gas.

Hey anyone have any direction for me as far as forged and ported internals for a 5.0L?

I'm buying an '87 and I'm making it a strictly-drag project. I currently own a 2001
V6 and I really like what I see at www.supersixmotorsports.com.... especially their powerpacks.

Does anyone know of places where that can be found for the 5.0L?


I'm looking to add forced induction later and I'm going to pretty much rebuild the motor anyways so I want to make the bottom end TOUGH

Even thinking about strokin it?
