Quick oil question

They do seem very evangelical. Their webisite is pretty interesting. Mobil-1 has a pretty good site too. It's hard to seperate fact from fiction with all these synthetics. In the end I decided to be practical. I can get discounted Mobil-1 at Costco and R&S Strauss Stores and I can always get a can at any Mobil station... that sold me. After talking to the Amsoil and the Mobil-1 reps, I also decided to go with a a nice standard weight 10w30.
Does anybody have any ideas about a good oil filter? From this forum, I learned that Fram is crap. any suggestions?
