I was wandering if anyone makes a engine dress up kit for a 91 2.3 mustang. I wanted to give my engine a show quailty look. And also does anyone out there make a good cam shaft? Im also lookin for a set of chrome headers too! Any info would be helpfull:flag:

i could be way wrong, but i think stinger makes some chrome Turbo Headers, other than that, i don't believe your going to find any for a n/a, as for the cam, i think you can get one from a ranger, but hopefully someone will help me out with the years that would benificial....

91 already has that cam. It's the first year that the dual plug motor was thrown in the Mustang which also means the first year for the roller valvetrain that everyone is jumping for. I hope you didn't buy one for your '93 Jquintel.

Other than valve covers, you're on your own. There's a couple of people making sheet metal and cast aluminum covers. They're friggen spendy though.

Racer walsh and Esslinger sell headers, I don't know if they sell any that are chrome, in this day and age I'd think a ceramic coated header would look better and last a hell of a lot longer than chrome.

Dress up kit? tee-hee

I don't think they really make dress up "kits" for anything but the 350 Chevy, and maybe the 5.0 Mustang. You'll have to put something together yourself.

You can get a cam for it but I wouldn't expect it to do a whole lot.

And I don't think anyone makes chrome headers for the 2.3 except maybe the ones for dune buggies.

lol thanks for the help, As for the cam i think id rather pass on the for now. I just wanna make my car have more pony's then what it has now, any suggestions? I already have msd coil packs and dual flowmaster exhaust..Im kind of stumped on what to do next, any suggestions? Thanks

I have a A4LD tranny..What Kind of gears would be best for me?
Depends, if you drive on the highways where speeds are more into the 70 mph range your probably going to want 3.73's i think.... if your doing mostly city driving probably 4.10's

either way, your going to need your speedo re-calibrated for the gear change...

I wouldn't put them in a car that sees alot of highway miles. The 3.73's are just about right. They're really sweet behind a 5spd, and about all you want behind an automatic. If you just run around town and not much on the big roads, you won't notice the downside to 4.10s Its not until you stretch it out on the highway that you'll kinda regret it.
